Our Impact

water projects

Since 2010, From Goals to Wells has helped fund and build over 12 water projects in Uganda. These include deep and shallow wells and water filtration walls. Each project provides safe, reliable drinking water to surrounding villages, improving health outcomes for families, giving them more time and energy to carry out whatever their day brings.

camps

From the beginning, our camp has never been just about soccer. Each day at camp, we use the water and snack breaks to share with our campers what we've learned about the culture and natural beauty of Uganda. The last day of camp, we use that time to brainstorm with the campers how they could make a difference in the world, just as we did when we started From Goals to Wells. And as always, all of the funds from our camps go directly to funding water projects in Northern Uganda. Learn More.

serve projects

As a way to give our campers an opportunity to make a difference in their community, we arrange a visit with them to the local food bank to learn about the different programs they have and take some time out to serve families coming in for a meal. It’s a small step, but we hope it’s a catalyst for the campers to learn about inequality in their own backyard and how they can take steps to eliminate it.

My favorite part…

I am honored to have been a part of From Goals to Wells for so long and have seen year after year the impact we’ve made. My favorite part though is seeing how it inspires the youth, volunteer coaches and campers alike, to think of creative and different ways to give back.
