From Goals To Wells has no paid staff and is run entirely by volunteers. We rely on our commitment to make a difference and the strength of our community support.

Olivia hinkle

Olivia graduated from Concordia University Irvine where she played for the women’s soccer team and majored in Exercise & Sports Science. She went on to get her Secondary Science Teaching Credential at Vanguard University and used that to become a Biology teacher. The past decade she has worked with children coaching at youth leagues, soccer camps, and in the classroom. Her love of the game and passion for social justice have inspired her work in education and with From Goals to Wells.

lucas clardy

Lucas is a graduate from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Communication Studies. He finished his soccer career on the Men’s team where he was a forward. He also received his Master's Degree in Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne. He has coached at soccer camps, schools, and different programs for over 15 years. Lucas is currently a High School Counselor in Long Beach where he continues to help students through difficult life situations and academic hurdles.

kala gabler

Kala is a UC Irvine graduate (2012 B.A. Psychology/Education Minor and 2013 Secondary Mathematics Teaching Credential), where she played for 3 years on the women's soccer team. She has coached youth players of all ages and skill levels on various teams, camps and clinics for 10+ years. After UCI, Kala taught Mathematics and coached soccer for 5 years at two Santa Ana charter high schools. She recently moved to Brooklyn, NY where she is applying to law school and hopes to become a public interest lawyer to defend those most vulnerable to abuses of power across our society. Her favorite snacks are pretzels and apples and she is a new mom to a goldendoodle named Ruthie.

Cameron howard

Cameron graduated from UC Merced with a B.A. in psychology in 2014. He has coached and played at various levels within the sport. Currently, he trains high schoolers looking to refine their technique and is a varsity high school coach. After Merced, he acquired his teaching credential in social science from Concordia University, Irvine. Cameron is continuing to attain his masters in education from Concordia. Cameron teaches 7th grade social studies where he likes to tax his students 10% of their food and asks them to show him pictures of their dogs.

Acire Michael

Michael was born and raised Northern Uganda and has worked extensively as a water engineer and construction manager for 14 + years. Some of the organizations he has worked with include Children’s Environment Health Network, as a WASH Project Officer, AVSI Foundation as a Water Engineer, the Danish Refugee Council as a WASH Project assistant, and the Lutheran World Foundation as a senior water and sanitation engineer. When he is not busy managing projects Michael likes spend his time riding his boda boda, making new friends, and reading newspapers.
